Miami-Dade Mayor and Community Leaders Provide Resources for Emotional Support During the Holiday Season
We attended the mental health support press conference hosted by Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, sharing resources on behalf of our community wellness program.
Joined by faith leaders, community members, and first responders, the Mayor brought attention to the emotional strain many people feel during the holidays. Leaders highlighted violence prevention alongside access to services such as 211 and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Miami-Dade Police Director Freddy Ramirez described the initiative as a community solution rather than a police one, and first responders encouraged people to speak up when they need help and to reach for available resources on behalf of someone who does.
